Job Responsibilities

  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to understand scope and requirements.
  • If necessary, conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for all plumbing components.
  • Analyze current pricing for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Work closely with project managers and suppliers to gather information and address any project-specific challenges.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • Implement quality control processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of estimates.
  • Maintain an organized database of historical costs and pricing for future reference.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and technologies, and share insights with the team.
  • Ensure all estimates adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Review and revise estimating practices to maintain compliance with local plumbing codes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • REQUIRED – MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5-7 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN COMMERCIAL PLUMBING 
  • Must Have: Proficiency in Procore
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within plumbing, construction, or related field.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and medical gas systems operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively manage teams and client relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as required.
